Standard Fee

$130* per 50 minute appointment regardless of whether it is an individual, couple or family session;

(note: the January 2016 schedule of professional fees recommended by the professional body to which the therapist belongs recommends a rate of $240/session for individual sessions, and for family therapy).

This service strives to keep counselling affordable.

Clinical Supervision Fee

A negotiable supervision rate is available for students.

For therapists in paid practice the supervision fee is $100 per 50 minute session.  (Please note: the schedule of professional fees recommended by the professional body to which the therapist belongs recommends a rate of $195 for clinical supervision).

Fee for Letters/Reports

The same fee as for a standard session is charged for letters and reports.  Letters or reports are only offered when it has been agreed prior to commencement of the first session and if the client is a current client at the time of the report being completed.

Forms of Payment

DIRECT DEPOSIT before or at the beginning of a visit is preferred (ask the therapist for bank details and please place you name in 'payment 'description').  Paymen by CASH OR CHEQUE (make out cheques to 'Blue Skies Trust') is also

Cancellation Fee

Payment of 50% of the full fee may be avoided by calling to cancel 48 hours or more prior to the appointment (this does not include weekends).  This is because the counsellor is a visiting professional to the centres where you see him.  The counsellor has no way of scheduling another client with late notice and so has no income from the cancelled appointment.  Your courtesy will avoid the necessity for a cancellation fee.

Concession rate reduces the fee to $100 each session if a current Pension or Health Card is displayed at the appointment.
